singularity (as in blow it out your quantum…)
I guess for those of us who thought Bioshock didn’t have a sinister enough world view, or feature a marine, there is SINGULARITY. And yeah, I do wish I could write this review and not make another reference to certain other games that take place under the sea, that is not going to be the case here. It’s almost like the people at Raven played through that other game, and then said to themselves: This game is garbage! It doesn’t have anyone speaking Russian in it!
That said, the game was enjoyable. I beat it. Got a pitiful 500 gamerscore (or less) which does bring us to the inevitable question: why so low? Because the game’s other 400 plus points are tied up in a bad remake of Team Fortress Two? Sadly, yes. This is true. Unless you’re a gaming masochist, and you like crappy rip-offs of better games tacked into rip-offs of other games to give you false sense of live support and replay value, that is.
If you are a gaming masochist, I advise you to consult the internet, find a nice girl who will put jumper cables on your nipples, and don’t play the multiplayer. In fact, as loathe as I am to say it: don’t support this game. Rent it if you must, but don’t buy it.
